This image just totally cracked me up and made me think of my family. I know for a fact that you don't have to be step siblings to behave in this manner and I've got the photos to prove it. I think my "baby" brother just might do the finger thing today if we were posing together.
As for my children, there are two girls who could have posed for this image but technically they are half sisters. Annie is about 15 years older than Liddy so there really wasn't much of this kind of squabbling going on between them but there was and still is the normal teasing that goes on between all siblings. In my case Mom really did like me better.
Liddy and Annie, May 2011 |
Annie got married this spring, she had an outdoor ceremony and party on her "farm". She was very lucky, the weather cooperated and gave her a beautiful sunny day and it was warm enough to sit outside all day and enjoy being there. That's quite a feat for New Jersey in May. It's usually cool and often rainy so much so that many of our Memorial Day bar-b-ques ended up being house parties.
