PIO #19 - Fuzzy

Hello Kitty!  As if the original Hello Kitty weren't enough to love now I've got another one that's too cute for words.  This little kitty has been supplied by Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps who are sponsoring this week's Pile It On challenge #19 "Fuzzy".
This cute and fuzzy kitty also reminds me of the prettiest kitty that ever shared a house with me but only for a short time. He was also the least people friendly cat I ever knew.  I always wanted to pick him up and pet him but he wanted nothing to do with that.   Well, that's just like a pretty boy isn't it, stuck up.  But I digress...

Here's the deets:
stamps - Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps "Hello Kitty" ; sentiment A Muse "A Warm Hello"
ink - printer for digi; Stampin' Up "Strawberry Slush" for sentiment
paper - Stampin' Up "Strawberry Slush" and "Pear Pizzaz" card stock; K & Co "SW Spring Blossom" pad
miscellaneous - copics; Spellbinder's Scalloped Rectangle die; baker's twine; ribbon; telephone charm; dew drops; bling;

Pile It On - Dots

This week the theme for the Pile It On challenge is "Dots".  You probably can't tell that the paper that I wrote my sentiment on is dotted because there's so little of it, but it is there.  Also in the image there are dots on the wires on which the birds sit.  I've also added some red pearl dots around the sentiment and a couple button embellishments to make it a little more dotty.  If you count my dotty brain...

This image from Stitchy Bear is digital and it's printed on patterned paper.  I like the look of stamps on patterned paper and since there's no coloring to do on this one I decided that a patterned paper background would make it more interesting.   Some of you may not realize that you can do that with your digital images or that your paper doesn't have to 8-1/2 x 11.  It just has to be a bit larger than your image.   This was done with just a scrap of paper.  All you have to do is lightly tape the scrap where the image is going to print.  This is the same thing you would do if you wanted to paper piece with a digital image.  It's easy peasy, give it a try, you'll like it.

Here's the deets:
image - Stitchy Bear "Bird on a Wire" digi
ink - hp printer

Pile It On #32 - Add Some Metal

This week at Pile It On we're challenging you to add some metal.  If you visit here regularly you know that I love to add charms (metal) to my cards.  This card is an exception, not that I don't have sewing themed charms but I also have sewing themed die cuts which I wanted to use for this layout.  Can you tell that they are a thimble, ruler and scissors?  I'm not sure if it's my computer or my photo but they don't show up very well on my screen.  So for the metal on this card I've added brass brads.  You can add whatever kind of metal you've got to your card.  The other important thing to do is to enter it into at least one other challenge.  That's pretty simple especially since there's always an "Anything Goes" challenge going on somewhere.

This week we're sponsored by Stitchy Bear.  My image is the digital  "Stitched with Love" which you can find in the "Valentine" section of the store.  I love the vintage look but if you haven't visited Stitchy Bear don't think that's all they do,  There are millions of great images to choose from.  OK, I exaggerated a little, but just a little, there are so many fabulous images to choose from that it feels like millions.   Have you stopped at the Pile It On challenge yet?  Well get on over there to see what the rest of the design team has created, leave them some love too.  we all love to read your comments.

Here's the deets:
ink - hp printer ; Ranger "Tea Dye" on edges
paper - Crafty Secrets "Heartwarming vintage Collection" dsp; Wausau Paper "Gray" and "Dans" Textures cs; My Favorite Things "Pink Lemonade" cs
