Snarky Birthday Greetings

I need to build up my birthday card stash.  I have tons of cards but not many are specifically birthday.  There's a couple coming up soon and nothing but a snarky card will do.  That means it's time to ink up some Bugaboo Stellas.  Oh yeah, you don't get much snarkier than that.
This one is for a guy so the embellishments are plain - some stitching, a couple brads and buttons.

Here's the same image and the same sketch.  This one is for a gal.  It's embellished with bling, ribbon and a charm, a little more girly.

The insides of both cards are very simple, just a small piece of one of the dp used on the face and white cardstock space for notes.

Here's the deets:
stamp - Bugaboo - Stella Old Fart Birthday
ink - hp printer
paper - Stampin' Up "Dusty Durango" cs (both cards); Echo Park "This and That" dp (top card); Theresa Collins "Carolina Breeze" dp (bottom card)
miscellaneous - copics; buttons, brads, ribbon, linen twine; present charm; stitching

Here's the challenges:
Ladybug Crafts #59 - Birthday
Ribbon Carousel RCC50 - Anything Goes
Simon Says - Anything Goes
For Your Inspiration #28 - photo (purple grass and gold sky)  (Bottom card)
CES #82 - Button It (top card)
Totally Papercrafts - All Buttoned Up
Paper Playtime #72 - Say It With Sentiments - Birthday card

That's it for the card stuff but I wanted to add a couple pics from around the neighborhood and house so I can get them onto my Pinterest board.  So you're welcome to to keep scrolling through.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll come back.

This alligator is about four or five feet long.  Here he's hanging out in one of the ponds we pass on our morning walk.  There was a smaller one a few feet away.

The cranes are strolling along the pond that runs behind the houses on my block.

This morning they were in the street in front of our house and walking up to the boulevard where they made the motorists a little nuts as they kept going in and out of the road.
