Better Get Better

I think this is one of the cutest stamps I've ever seen. It's another of the Pure Innocence stamps from My Favorite Things. This one is called "Better Get Better". That teddy bear just gets to me.

When my daughter was little I loved to dress her up in denim jumpers and farmer jeans. I don't think there's anything cuter than little girls in farmer jeans, well maybe little girls in farmer jeans with their hair in braids. So I used a navy blue to color PI's jumper. I didn't have an orange marker that showed on top of it so I made stitching marks with a white gel pen. Close enough for me.

I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #57 for my layout. I turned it on its side, I don't know why because it looked just as good the way that Karen set it up. I kept going back and forth with it and finally just put it down this way. I added a few embellishments and ended up liking it.

So here's the deets: it's stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on an MFT Perfect Panel, so is the sentiment. It's colored with copics and the edges are sponged with Ranger Distress Scattered Straw. The mat is DCWV cs. The panel and the mat were cut with Nestibilities. The tags were made with Stampin' Up punches. All the papers have the edges sponged with the scattered straw. The dp is Delicate Dots from Stampin' Up and it's zigzag stitched with a variegated blue Sulky thread. The ribbon is Mays and that big 'ole button is from MFT. Her heart barrette is pink Glitzy Glitter and those little dots in the corners are Baby Blue Candy Dots from Pebbles, Inc.

I finished off the inside of the card using the same papers and card stock from the front. The white mat in the center for your note was made with a Stampin' Up Top Note die.

Here's the rest of the challenges:
Pile It On Challenge #7 - Get Well Soon (and the idea with PIO is to combine their challenge with at least one more)
Allsorts Week 40 - a Tag, Ticket or Label
Paper Cutz Challenge #29 - Make a Get Well Card
Crafty Creations #55 - Stitching

That's it for tonight, I hope you enjoyed your visit and will come back again. And don't forget to click on the pink ribbon before you go.
