I don't know about your calendar but my January is full of birthdays so I got busy making cards and playing challenges in the process. This card is for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #120; the Color Throwdown #74 challenge to use Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip and Dusty Durago; the Crazy 4 Challenges C4C19 Theme Challenge - Birthday and the ABC Challenge - "L" is for Layering.
The card stocks on this card are all from Stampin' Up in the colors of the throwdown. I have a couple papers that also have the throwdown colors so I picked the Imaginisce papers because they have a little mushroom that is range with white polka dots on it and one of my favorite stamps, MFT's Pure Innocence Fairy Girl has a polka dotted mushroom on it. Funny thing, the bottom paper is the one with the mushroom on it but all the other layers on top of it cover the mushrooms up. The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on an MFT white Perfect Panel and punched out with a nestibilities as is the scalloped oval. The edge of the inner oval was pounced with Ranger Distress Ink "Tattered Rose". The image was colored with copics, the dress was pieced with one of the Imaginisce papers. The shoes' pompoms, her barrette and the mushroom's dots were covered with stickles. The fairy wings are covered with Glitzy Glitter. The pearls are Hero Arts, the bling in the wand is a ZVA self-adhesive crystal. The chocolate chip cs was punched with Fiskar's Sunburst border punch.
The inside of the card was finished off with the same papers and a sentiment from the MFT "Wrapped In Love" set was stamped on it.
Thanks for visiting, I hope you'll come back soon. Don't forget to click on the pink ribbon before you leave.
