How about a Red Challenge

I'm just starting to catch onto the fact that it's summer and here we are talking about back to school.  I'm used to back to school happening in September after Labor Day but in Florida where my new home is school starts in August so I guess the Twisted Thursday school time theme is right on the money.
For me back to school was a love/hate thing.  I liked school and I looked forward to seeing the kids I hadn't seen all summer.  On the other hand I missed sleeping late and goofing around all day not having to do anything in particular but be a bum.   Those were the days.

Are you ready for another Twisted Thursday with Shirley's 2 Girls?  This week the challenge is to use red.  My card is not the best example of except for the red hair and apple embellishments.  For my card I used the Gracie Fall  digi image, seems to me she just had to have red hair.  I associate fall with the rich colors of the falling leaves which in turn reminds me of apple picking.  So that's how I played this challenge.  That's the thing about card challenges, you can interpret it any way you want.  The idea is to have fun.   So why don't you hop over to Shirley's 2 Girls Challenge Blog, that's where you can submit your creation giving you a chance to win some S2G digi images.  You can also check out what the other design team members made for this challenge.  There's always some good eye candy.

Here's the deets:
