A Sketch Challenge

Click on the picture to enlarge it
It's the first Wednesday of the month which means that this week's Paper Pretties challenge is a sketch.  And this week's sketch is fantastic.  I'm sure you're going to want to play along.

My card was made with the "Ahoy Matie" stamp set (you can purchase it here). It comes with a couple sentiments, one of which is "uss baby", it would look really cute stamped on the boat.  I thought I might want to use this as a birthday card for a little boy so I left it off, I can always add it on later.

Don't forget the inside

The yellow photographed a little harsh, it's much softer in person.

So what are you waiting for?  Need a little more inspiration, well go visit the Paper Pretties blog to see what the rest of the design team has made.  I'm sure you'll find some gorgeous eye candy there.  Then get inky and make a card or project with the sketch and link it up for us to see.  You don't have to use Paper Pretties stamps to play along but if you've got them, we'd love to see how you use them.

Here's the deets:
stamp - Paper Pretties "Ahoy Matie"
ink - Memento Tuxedo Black; Ranger Antique Linen
paper - Georgia Pacific white cs for stamp; MFT banana split cs for base and mats; K & Co. "Itsy Bitsy" pad
miscellaneous - nesties; charm; copics; hemp twine; twill ribbon

Here's the challenges:
Paper Pretties PWC139 - sketch
Crazy 4 Challenges C4C72 - vintage/shabby chic
Pile It On #5 - Punch It!

Thanks for visiting, I hope you'll come back again.  Which reminds me, Paper Pretties is going to be releasing some new stamp sets next week, there'll be some sneak peaks coming later this week, be sure to stop back.
