Layer It

Layer, layers and more layers. This week at Pile It On that's what we want to see, lots of layers. So combine this challenge with as many other challenges as you can and play along with us. Our sponsor this week is Stamp Fairy. The image on my card is Barry Halloween. He's a pretty cute little fellow all dressed up for the funnest of the holidays. For this challenge I looked for a sketch (this is from the Sweet Stop) with lots of layers but for a little more interest I used a technique called paper tole. This is where you stamp more than one of the image and then you cut and paste pieces of the image on top of themselves (that's clear as mud, huh?). In real life you can see it, but not in the photo of the card face so I'm adding this close up of the face and arm with wand. Here you can see that the face is popped up on dimensionals. With the paper tole that makes 5 layers without counting the mats.
