Sentiment as focal point cards are fast and easy. With the right paper and a few embellishments they look like a million bucks. There are lots of places you can find inspiration. This card was inspired by a card I saw on the Sharon Johnson's No Time To Stamp blog. If you're stumped or your mojo's gone on walk about, that's a good place to poke around.
Here's the deets:
stamp - Pape Pretties "Birthday Sentiments"
ink - Stampin' Up "Always Artichoke"
paper - Stampin' Up "Kraft" cs; K & Co "Life's Journey" dp
miscellaneous - pleated ribbon; lace; Webster's Pages Silhouette (the cameo); sewing machine; brads
Here's the challenges:
Paper Pretties PWC173 - Use a Sentiment as a focal point
Southern Girls #28 - Anything Goes
4 Crafty Chicks - Anything Goes
Crafty Creations #137 - CAS
Simon Says - Anything Goes
Top Tip #53 - 2 or More ribbons, twine, lace, fabric
Truly Scrumptious #66 - Clean and Simple
Paper Sundaes #88 - Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll come back again. By the way, unless you've been on a desert island for the last 20 years you know that October is breast cancer awareness month. One of the easiest things you can do to help the fight is to click on the pink ribbon at the top of my sidebar. It's a good thing.
