the Strangest Card

This has been the strangest card making experince I've ever had and I just spent a half hour writing up the story and somehow when I was adding the labels I hit some combination of keys and deleted the entire post. YIKES!!! I really, really hate when this happens. It just goes along with the strangeness of this entire process.
I will now attempt to tell the story again because I am a glutton for punishment.
This week when I looked at the Mojo Monday sketch challenge I didn't think I was going to try it because I wasn't getting any ideas.
I started to make a card for a color challenge that called for violet, walnut and gray. I pulled out some purple papers and came across this butterfly stamp. I have no idea when or where I got it. I pulled a Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad and stamped it. Yowsers, there's a woman in it. Well, okay, I can go with that but it looked blah in brown and the purple papers were not working with the image so I switched to the green stamp pad which I liked. I decided to stamp it a second time, cut it out and pop it up with dimensionals. At this point I realized I had Graphic 45 papers that had butterfly designs so I pulled that pad out. To make a long story shorter these papers are not the first papers I chose and this layout is not the first layout, not the first border punch and there's a pile of cut up papers on my desk to bare this out. Oh well, maybe hopefully I can use some of them for something else. When I finally gave in and decided to let this card make itself the Mojo sketch got flipped and wheedled and in the end this could possibly be one of my favorite cards.
Here's a close up of the charm, isn't it cute?
