Grow Something

Usually around this time of year the gardening bug hits me but as I get older the thought of spending time on my knees usually overpowers the bug.  It's a good thing most crafts can be done sitting done.

This week's challenge #93 at Cooking It Up With Katie is all about the garden so why not make a card for one of your buddies who can  still get down on his or her knees.   The recipe is - make it green, make it gorgeous, make it in a garden.

don't forget the inside
I inked up My Favorite Things Pure Innocence "Mud Buddies" and combined her with the GORGEOUS My Mind's Eye "Howdy Dowdy" paper.  I have no idea why they gave such beautiful dp such a dorky name.  Who cares, it's just beautiful.
I'm sure to be breaking this pad out again soon.

If you need some more inspiration stop over at Katie's to see what the rest of the design team created - all beautiful, as usual.  We hope you'll make something too.

Here's the deets:
stamp - My Favorite Things, Pure Innocence "Mud Buddies"
ink - Memento "tuxedo Black" and "Bamboo Leaves"
paper - Stampin' Up "Wild Wasabi" "So Saffron" and "Peach Parfait" card stock; My Mind's Eye Miss Carolina "Howdy Dowdy" dp
miscellaneous - copics; Close to My Heart "Buttercream" brads; burlap twine; trowel charm; My Favorite Things "Scalloped Ribbon" and "Oval Stax" die-namics; Spellbinders "Deckled Rectangle" die; sewing machine
