Listen to the Bunny

"Take It Easy", good advice for anyone, anytime. This week has been a little stressful for me, good stress, but stress nevertheless. I filed my retirement papers, a big step. Filing the paper was the easy part, now there's so much that has to be done, mostly finishing up and cleaning up. Beside retiring I'm moving. There's so much to do and more importantly there's so little space to move my stuff into. I get the most stressed out over my craft and art supplies. I have no idea where I'm going to put them. ACK! So I have to listen to the bunny and just chill over this. This is just another example of, if this is the worst of my problems, then life is pretty sweet.
This bunny is from "Joyride" from the April release over at the Cat's Pajamas. Lots of fun and rowdiness (check out those rascally penguins while you're there) in this release. I always wanted a Vespa, but they always seemed so impracticable to me that I never shopped for one. Who knows, maybe I'll go for one now.
Doesn't the Vespa scream to be paper pieced. I used some Stampin' Up papers which I picked to use for the Just Us Girls color challenge. It doesn't hurt that I love this color combo. I like the way this card came out so much I feel like sending it to myself. LOL! I do entertain myself.
So here's the deets:
Stamps - image and sentiment The Cat's Pajamas "Joyride"
Ink - "Memento Tuxedo Black" for the image, Ranger "Peeled Paint" for the sentiment. The green cs is edged with the Peeled Paint. The white cs is edged with CTMH "Amethyst"
Paper - all dp Stampin' Up "Shades of Spring", white cs is MFT Perfect Panel, pink cs is Colorbok, the green cs is SU "Certainly Celery" and the lavender cs is SU "Pale Plum"
Miscellaneous - lavendar bling by ZVA, green bling by Heidi Swapp, clip by CTMH, SU border punch, copics to color bunny and scarf, ribbon from Walmart and great dimensionals from Jody.
Here's the Challenges:
Oh Alice - the sketch
Just Us Girls - week 29 color challenge pink, green and lavender, yellow optional (there's some yellow dots in the dp) and the twist is to make a birthday card (I've left the inside blank for now but I'm going to finish it off with some matching dp and a Happy Birthday sentiment - us older folks do need to take it easy on our b-days)
Cute Card Thursday Challenge #108 - Touchy Feely - use texture, make us want to feel it (I don't know about you but I wanna grab that ribbon, and bling always make me touchy feely)
Paper Sundaes - no people (just bunny on this baby) and they've got some contests going on with some fun stamps up for grab - go check it out
Stamp Something - Something Layered (I count 4, and there's lots of dimensionals popping them up, you can see some shadows in the photo)
The Corrosive Challenge #60 - Paper Piecing (the vespa)
Thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoyed yourself. Don't forget to click the pink button before you leave. And please, come back again.
Papertake Weekly - Cutie Pie, let's see lots of cuteness (this bunny is pretty dang cute)
