Rip and Roll

It's something like rock n roll but you do it with your paper.  You MFT junkies know that it's this month's guest designer challenge.
I'm not very good at rolled flowers so I wasn't going to play along this month.   Then a trip to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens lit a small fire under me and I dug out the large rolled rose die and gave it a shot.
The gardens are amazing.  If you're interested I'm going to post a few photos after the deets and challenges.

don't forget the inside

Here's the deets:
stamp - My Favorite Things "Clearly Sentimental About Children"
Ink - Versa Magic "Spring Pansy"
paper - Stampin' Up "Orcid Opulence" cs; K and Co "Susan Winget" dp
miscellaneous - MFT dies; pearls; felt; sewing machine

Here's the challenges:
My Favorite Things - September Guest Designer Rip and Roll
Craft Your Days Away #28 - Make Your Own Flowers
Wee Memories - #66 - Simply Sentiments
Sweet Stampin - Anything But Birthday
Moving Along with the Times #114 - Homemade Flowers
Paper Play week 35 - Make Your Own Flowers
Top Tip #49 - Shabby Chic

Here's the photos from the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens

  2. Wow, I think you nailed the flower thing! It's gorgeous and the trip to the botanical was the perfect inspiration. I wonder if there is ever a "make a seascape" challenge if my hubby would understand the inspirational necessity of a cruise! ;) LOL
Your card is beautiful and the pictures are fantastic.
Thanks so much for playing along with us at Top Tip Tuesday for our "Shabby Chic" challenge.
