What I Cooked Up

The holidays are over and it's time to start Cooking It Up With Katie.  This is my favorite kind of cooking and the easiest recipes to follow.
This week the recipe is "Animals, buttons and ribbon".  To play along with us all you have to do is use those three items on your project.  You can use any manufacturer you'd like, any products you like, the main thing is to have fun.  Once you've got your card or project ready go to Katie's blog and link up your creation, we love to see what you've made.  You can find all the details about the challenge on her blog.   Need more inspiration, you can check out the rest of the DT's  while you're visiting Katie's blog.  So go ink up a stamp, or print out a digi and get playing.
For my card I chose one of the Cat's Pajamas bunny stamps. I have quite a few friends and relatives with birthdays in January so I'll be working this bunny. I paired him up with some GCD Studios "Chianti Collection" dp because I wanted my card to feature red. For the challenge I scrunched up some black and white gingham ribbon and used some twine to tie on the button. Then I added a charm, cause I'm all about the charms.

Keeping my New Year's resolution I completed the inside of the card.  Nice and neat, it takes the card up another notch.

Here's the deets:
stamp:  the Cat's Pajamas "Birthday Bunny"
ink - outside Memento Tuxedo Black; inside Close To My Heart Cranberry
paper - white Georgia Pacific cs for image; unknown black cs for mats; GCD Studios "Chianti Collection" dp
miscellaneous - MFT ribbon, gelly roll pen, Martha Stewart "Party" border punch; Divine Twine; button; copics

Here's the challenges:
Cooking It Up with Katie #43 - Animals, button and ribbon
Just Us Girls #65 - sketch (nice sketch ladies - fun to use)
Cupcake Inspiration #92 - I was inspired by the colors of the inspiration photo (also wanted to run out to the bakery)
Secret Crafter #115 - Buttons and Bows

Thank you for coming by, I hope you'll come back again.
