When I saw these cupcakes I thought of Mom. Growing up in the 50's I was lucky enough to have a stay at home mom. She was a great cook, an excellent baker and an avid reader. She could knit, crochet and sew and taught me all of those crafts. She was pretty, funny, loving, and encouraged me to do whatever I wanted to do. She was also an early supporter of the feminist movement and the ERA. She was a very forward thinking woman and I wonder what she would have done had she been born at a time when she would have been encouraged the way she encouraged me.
These fun and colorful cuppies are the inspiration for this week's Cupcake Inspiration challenge CIC109. You can interpret the photo anyway you like (maybe they made you think of Dad or a maid). You can make a card or any kind of a project. We love to see what you come up with. You can find all the challenge details, the linkey thingy and the cards by the other design team members by clicking here.
