Heather, the Prettiest of the Pretties sends the design team the stamps early so we have plenty of time to get inspired. While we're waiting for the release dates to get here I feel like a kid with a super duper show and tell project ready to burst. I can't wait to show off the new stuff.
So Yippee! I can finally show you my "Birthday Sentiment" card.
Would you believe this card took about 10 minutes to make. It took more time to get the supplies out than to put it together and I LOVE it. It's so pretty and feminine. You can add bling and buttons or other embellies but it doesn't need it.
I'm sorry the inside didn't photograh very well. Whenever I make landscape cards I have trouble getting them to stay open inside out. It's another stamp from the set stamped in Ranger "Tea Dye" ink to keep with the shabby chic look. Here's why you have to have this stamp set:
1.) I have it and if I have it you have to have it, cause everything I have you have to have (you know it's true! I didn't become an enabler without your help.)
2.) You forgot your mother-in-law's birthday and have to put a card together quick, quick, quick because she's pulling up the dirveway, well, you can whip one like this up really quick. (Just do the front, she'll be so floored you made something this gorgeous for her she'll be in shock and won't notice the inside)
There's more reasons but those two are so good I'll leave it at that.
Here's the deets:
stamp - Paper Pretties "Birthday Sentiments"
ink - Ranger "Tea Dye"
paper - Melissa Frances "Vintage Attic"; pink Memory box card base; scarp of white cs for sentiment
miscellaneous - Recollections flower; pleated ribbon; velvet rick rack; burlap twine
Here's the challenges:
Daring Cardmakers - Roses and Honeysuckle
Top Tip #36 - Wrap It Up with Ribbon
4 Crafty Chicks - Anniversary (I think this works for a birthday or anniversary)
Paper Sundaes #72 - Let's Get Sentimental
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll come back again, there's more sneak peaks coming. You should check the Paper Pretties blog every day to see what the design team has cooked up.
