I just like that word.  Wonky.

It kept coming to mind as I worked on this card for this weeks guest designer spot on the Pile It On challenge.   This week the challenge is "Crooked Angles";  no squares or rectangles for your mats or card.   The sponsor is Just Some Lines.

The idea behind the Pile It On challenge is to make a card or project for the the PIO weekly theme and then to combine it with at least one other challenge.  The blog has lots of challenges listed on the sidebar to help you out.  Plus all the designers list the challenges for their cards.  (HINT - that's where I find most of the challenges I enter).  I am amazed at the number of challenges that are out there.  It seems like new ones are created daily.

With Father's Day fast approaching it seems like every other challenge is looking for a Father's Day or man's card.  So, I went with the men's theme and used one of my favorite Paper Pretties. stamp sets - "Handy Man".  So perfect for the guys.  I've noticed that the "blue ribbon" medallions are showing up all over the craft stores and blogland so I added my home made version using the Cat's Pajamas cutup "Rosette" die for the flared part.  I punched out the sentiment and glued it to the front and then glued some ribbon to the back.  It looks as good as anything you could by and by making it myself I got the colors I wanted.  Easy Peasy.
