I prefer tea. When I saw this adorable tea cup charm I had to have it. I love to hang embellishment on my cards and I think that charms look great. The buttoney bow has been a big hit embellishment but I think the charm hanging off the buttoney bow is that much sweeter. This one also has a little Heidi Swapp bling on it. Here's a close up of it.
I made a pile of this card for a MFT swap. I knew I wanted to use a WTG stamp set so I dug through my stamps and picked this one because it's fun and easy to paper piece. I didn't find any sketch challenges so I went with an easy peasy layout. I did have a couple challenges I wanted to play in, a color challenge and an inspiration challenge.
So here's the deets:
Stamp: My Favorite Things "Coffee? Tea?"
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Ranger "Bundled Sage"
Paper: Stampin' Up Pink Pirouette dp; MFT Bubblegum cs; SU Certainly Celery cs; Georgia Pacific white cs
Miscellaneous - Heidi Swapp bling; charm, ribbon, Martha Stewart "Doily Lace" border punch; SU corner punch
Here's the challenges:
PIO #19 - Photo inspiration - a photograph from the White House Museum of a bedroom in shades of pink and ivory. I used the colors for my card and it's the kind of room you'd like to sit down in with a nice cup of tea.
City Crafter Week 4 - color challenge Pink with a hint of green
Cute Cards Challenge #112 - Someone Special
Stampin' B #58 - Food or drink
Charisma Cardz Week 19 - Sweet Treats Food or Drink
Belli Challenge #91 - Hole punches (I dug this punch out of my stash and it kept getting stuck, if you have this problem try punching a piece of aluminum foil, it did help)
Thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoyed your visit and will come back again. Before you leave click on the pink ribbon it's good karma.
Those are great cards. I really love the charm. Can you tell me where you got it?
