White on White

For an elegant looking card you can't beat white on white.   They work especially well for wedding cards, sympathy card and get well cards.  All you need is an embossing folder to jazz up the layers or even a scoring tool.  Toss in some bling or favored embellishments and you've got a classic.  For my card I chose to work with one of the Irish Blessings stamps.  It's stamped in Versamark with silver embossing paper. Silver looks great on a white on white card.  I thought I'd shabby it up a little so I used some Ranger "Antique Linen" around the edges.  Sentiment cards work up very fast, I'll be using this design forcards that I need in a pinch.
This week the challenge PWC159 at Paper Pretties is to make a white on white card.  You can color or your image but your paper layers have to be white.  You don't have to use a Paper Pretties image to play along but if you have them we'd like to see what you do with them.  Feel a little skittish about this one, well hop over to the blog and get some more inspiration from the rest of the design team.  You'll also find all the rules and the linkey thingey there.
Here's the deets:
stamp - Paper Pretties "Irish Blessings"
ink - Versamark; Ranger "Antique Linen"
paper - white cs
miscellaneous - Nesties die; pleated ribbon; lace; embossing folder

Here's the challenges:
Paper Pretties PWC159 - white on white
Paper Players #52 - Clean andd Simple

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll come back again.  Now go get busy and make a white on white card and don't forget to link it up on the Paper Pretties blog so that we can see it.
