Busy as a Bee

It's been raining all day, the perfect weather for ducks and for sitting in your craft space.  I got two cards done.  One for this week's My Favorite Things challenge and one of the MFT sketches I got behind on.  I've still got quite a few to get done.

I love this bee paper so I had to make something that would go with it.   This Doodle Garden image is perfect for the paper.

On the banner there's a two layer  flower with a button center and a charm.  It looks much better in real life.  Unfortunately when you're putting the embellishments on the card you don't know what won't photograph well.

Here's the deets:
stamp - My Favorite Things  "Doodle Garden - Sweet As Can Be"
ink - Memento "Tuxedo Black" and Ranger "Vintage Photo"
paper - Close to My Heart "Buzz and Bumble" package
miscellaneous - copics; Jolee's bee stickers; MFT "Circle Stax",  Creative Memories Cutting System;  "Fishtale Flags Stax" and "Pretty Posies" die-namics; beehive charm; button; Viva Glitter Liner "Holo Iridescent"; Twinkle Goosebumps;
 Machine Stitching

Here's the challenges:
My Favorite Things MFTWSC127 - sketch
Friday Mash Up #113 - Hexagons and/or Girly Projects
Sister Act #10 - Anything Goes
Totally Papercrafts #170 - Punches and Dies
Charisma #22 - Lots of Layers

The second card is masculine with a western theme.  The "Inspired by the Wild Wild West" set has great images and sentiments for masculine cards.  I can always use a masculine card in my stash.

Here's the deets:
stamp - My Favorite Things "Inspired by the Wild Wild West"
ink - Memento "Tuxedo Black"
paper - My Favorite Things "Midnight Blue" card stock; October Afternoon "Sasparilla" dp
miscellaneous - copics; MFT "Oval Stax" die-manics; brads; hemp twine; cactus charm

Here's the challenges:
My Favorite Things MFTWSC110- sketch
Really Reasonable Ribbon  #73 - Masculine with ribbon or trim
Simply Create Too #39 - Father's Day or For a Male
Sugar Creek Hollow #62 - Father's Day
Simon Says Stamp - Masculine/Father's Day

Thanks for stopping by, come back again.
