Wild Wild West

When I was in college everybody was buying Frye boots.  I looked at them but they didn't move me the way cowboy boots do. While the cool kids were wearing their Fryes I was wearing my red cowboy boots and I loved them.  I still love cowboy boots but it's so warm where I live now that I rarely wear shoes yet alone boots.  I guess I could wear them as a fashion statement but these days I'm all about comfort so it's flip flops and sandals for me.  My love of cowboy boots will now have to be on paper.  I can have a lot of fun with this stamp, and probably will.

The bandanna border was fussy cut and the spurs on the boots were cut to go over the edge of the mat.  The embellishments were minimal so it could be for a guy.

Here's the deets:
stamp - My Favorite Things "Inspired by Wild Wild West"
ink - Memento "Tuxedo Black" and MFT "Steel Blue"; Ranger Walnut Stain"
paper - MFT "Steel Blue" cs; October Afternoon "Sarsaparilla"
miscellaneous - copics; MFT "Sentimental Strips" die-namics; burlap twine; boot charm

Here's the challenges:
