Ben's Paper Dolls aka Major Tom

When I was making this card it reminded me of a drawing I made many years ago so I went hunting for a picture of it. It's out in the house in Pennsylvania so I couldn't just take a picture of it. I'm sorry the quality of the picture is poor but it's the best I've got at the moment. It's named "Major Tom" after the David Bowie song. It's done in prismacolor pencils. I figured if you're willing to look at my cards you might be interested in some of the stuff I've done along the way to getting here and I've done lots of stuff, mostly because I've been around a long enough time.
So the stamped fella is from MFT's "Ben Paper Doll" set. I stamped it on white card stock and colored it in with copics and mounted in on dimensionals. The little alien is also done that way. The designer papers are from Crate Paper, they're Orbit Collection, Satellite, Playtime and Line Up. They've had Memento Lady Bug wiped on the edges and then were matted on gray card stock. The yummy ribbon is from MFT's summer collection. The square blings are Precious Finds and there are a couple dots of xmas red stickles for Ben's antennae and the aliens belly button. I haven't decided if the alien has a ruby in there or if it's natural navel. Hey, remember I'm easily amused, what do expect from me?
Thanks for stopping by, leave me some feedback, I love to read your comments. Don't forget to click on the pink ribbon.
Oops, I almost forgot the layout of this card is MFTSC20 on the Splitcoast Stampers. I'm trying to get the first 100 sketches done and the challenge I made this one for is Allsorts #17 - Something for the Boys. Thanks again for stopping by.

  4. I always thought that the "Major Tom" picture was very interesting. The "Flamingo" is still my favorite though.
