A Post for Megan

Are you asking yourself "why is she posting a Christmas scrapbook page?" probably not. Most of you crafters know what the actual season is has nothing to do with what you're making.
The other day over on the MFT thread on Splitcoast we were talking about the punch used on this layout. I think it's called "spiral". I mentioned using it on this particular layout and how much I liked the way it came out and I told Megan I'd take a pic for her, so Megan this one's for you. If you're wondering who Megan is you can visit her blog by clicking here. I think you'll like her blog so go visit her. I have to remember to send you to some of my other favorite sites, hey, if you like this site you'll probably like the sites I like.

I'm sorry there isn't a lot I can tell you about the supplies I used. The paper was given to me by Pam, she's the avid Yankee fan whose picture is hard to see here. She had a package with really cute Christmas paper in it and I was drooling all over it so she let me help myself what I wanted, I couldn't fit the whole package in my purse so I took these triangle santas and the polka dots. In case your eyesight isn't that good or the image is just too small to see, the lined paper is handmade. I punched the edges and drew the lines free hand so they'd look wonky. I wrote the note to Santa with my left hand to make it look childish and then I wrote little notes to santa from all the people in the pics. It's a nice remembrance of Christmas Eve. We have a fun time eating and telling stories and laughing and then we have a little gift exchange.
Thanks for visiting with me and don't forget to click on the pink ribbon.

  1. Adorable - great use of the spiral punch! Great idea to write with your left hand too.
