Behind the Bar Again

I've been hanging around the bar again.  That's the Raise the Bar challenge blog.  They picked my "Return of Cluck" card as one of the top three for the "Hey Chick! challenge.  The top three are invited to be be guest bar tenders.  I'm such a challenge junkie I couldn't say no.  Besides it's fun.

This week's challenge is a "Nautical theme" with the recipe requirement to use blue, white and stripes.
This card was made with a stamp from an old and neglected set of stamps I picked up at AC Moore many moons ago.  The papers and brads been in my stash for quite some time too.  Don't you just love it when you use up items in your stash?

don't forget the inside

Here's the deets:
stamp - Hampton Art "Seashells by the Sea Shore"
ink - Memento Tuxedo Black; Stampin' Up "Soft Sky" (the boat was stamped on the inside with the soft sky ink but it isn't showing up very well in this photo); Versafine "Toffee"  was brushed on the edges of the white cs
paper - Stampin' Up "Patterns Pack II" dp; SU "bold Brights" blue cs; Georgia Pacific white cs
miscellaneous - copics; SU ribbon; Divine Twine; charm; mini brads; SU circle and scalloped circle punches; the Cat's Pajamas "Wave" cut ups

Here's the challenges:

  3. Great masculine card - which is always where I struggle. I love how you've made a relatively small stamp "fill" a card and how you've mixed the DP's too. And it's as beautiful inside as out x
