This week's Pile It On challenge is to Watercolor. One of my favorite stamps to water color is the hydrangea arrangement from the Stampin' Up Bloomin' Beautiful set. My good buddy Maddy gave me this stamp set so I love it even more cause it makes me think of her whenever I use it. I piled on two more challenges. The Our Creative Corner sketch challenge for this week and the Color Throwdown challenge #53 to use Bordering Blue (a color I took a shine to recently), Rose Red and Pink Pirouette. The image was stamped on Stampin' Up Confetti White card stock. The base color of the flowers is bordering blue and the container is rose red. Several other shades of blue were laid over the bordering blue. Glitter dust was placed in the centers of the flowers. The paper was cut with a Creative Memories cutting system oval and then mounted on a oval cut from bordering blue card stock. The sentiment was stamped in /bordering Blue on the confetti white card stock. A Stampin' Up scalloped eyelet border punch was used on the bordering blue card stock that the sentiment is mounted on. The background paper is Stampin' Up DSP Bella Birds. Basic Gray half pearls are mounted on the sentiment and the paper ribbons.
